Fishing reports:

4-11-2022

Sea Mullet, Black Drum, Puffer Fish and Trout are what has been biting but now Blue Fish can be added to the list since a few where caught on bottom rigs. The water did cool off a bit from this cold weekend but with those SW winds and warmer days in the forecast the water should get warmer.

4-7-2022

Looks to be some strong W winds forecasted for this weekend. Last time we got those strong W winds the bite was very good. The bite could be decent to very good during those times. Sea Mullet, Black Drum and Trout being caught. With the warming water Blue Fish should be showing and not too far behind them would be Spanish Mackerel as the water gets towards 72~74 degrees.

4-4-2022

Water temp keeps pushing up and more fish are getting into people coolers. Sea Mullets are mostly caught with some nice sized Black Drum, Trout and a few Puffer Fish are still around. Looks to be some strong S and SW winds in the forecast so the bite could be decent to very good during those times.

3-24-2022

As the water is warming up the bite is picking up. Good amounts of Sea Mullet and Puffer Fish caught this week with a couple of Black Drum also caught. Looks to be one last cold front that will push through this weekend which might give that one last chance to get some Puffer Fish before the water gets too warms and they move on. While the puffer fish move out the Blue Fish should start to move in as the water gets above 62 degrees.

3-21-2022

Puffer Fish and Sea Mullet have been caught over the weekend. Water temp is getting around 60 degrees so the bite should keep getting better.

3-7-2022

Well, the forecast is showing this week with chances of showers and clearing by the weekend. In the spring the better days to fish will be the ones where the winds are blowing SW, S and W.
